<The weavings of Nazca culture have a certain
further development of Paracas culture as it is
the case with the ceramics, too. This further
development can be seen with embroidery and for
some variations of designs.
At the beginning of the development three
dimensional polichrome weavings are
characteristic, and this is valid not only for
embroidery and fringes, but also for precious
fabrics. The most applied form of ornament
designs were birds, beans or human beings with
hairs on their head.>

Los tejidos de la cultura Nazca, como su
cerámica, evidencian cierta continuidad con la
cultura Parácas en características como el
bordado y algunos diseños iconográficos con
ciertas variaciones.
En sus fases iniciales, además del bordado en
los bordes, son característicos los tejidos
tridimensionales polícromos, también en los
bordes de telas sencillas, siendo entre los
diseños más usados en esta técnica las aves, los
frijoles y los seres humanos con cabelleras)

designed fabric.>

El bordado continúa en la fase media de la
cultura Nazca, como puede observarse en estas
bolsas y fragmento de faja (nivel inferior).
Asimismo, hacia finales se encuentra el uso de
la técnica del tapíz como en el uncu o camisa
con flecos que aquí se muestra, donde se combina
esta técnica con la del tejido llano).
